The Costume Concert
The Jazz three piece combo band has been placed with costumed musicians performing The 2nd Annual Halloween Costume Concert. Almost all of the musicians are dressed up to play this concert. The costumes range from the a male cat women, to chewy. The orchestra leader, a small person wears a viking helmet, and brandishing a plastic ax/knife combo. She was commanding the band with the knife waving through the air.
When the band started playing, I was reminded of the Bosco marching band. They only played five songs, in two sets.
The first song was The March of Halloween, also known as the opening theme song of Alfred Hitchcock Presents:
The next song was from that classic cartoon Pinky and The Brain:
The next song that they performed is everyone's favorite This is Halloween from The Nightmare before Christmas
The last song that was performed was a song from BeetleJuice, I just can't remember which song exactly it was.
The last song they did was Hall of the Mountain King by Grieg
I wasn't able to finish watching the second set, due to the fact I had class.

The Jazz Combo
I was sitting in the Jameson Amphitheater eating my lunch, and listening to the Jazz combo band in the photo playing music. While listening to them play, I had this feeling that I was in a cafe. They were playing really good music. When I first arrived at the amphitheater there weren't many people there, but toward the end many people showed up.The amphitheater also gave me the feeling of being in Greece during Socrates' trial, and his famous speech The apology.
I honestly feel like I'm in college now since seeing this show. This was just a random blog telling somethings I seen today

O Death
For the past couple of weeks, I've been obsessed with this one song O Death by Jen Titus.
O, Death
Won't you spare me over another?
Oh what is this that I can't see with ice cold hands taking hold of me
When God is gone and the Devil takes hold
Who'll have mercy on your soul
O, Death
No wealth, no ruin, no silver, no gold
Nothing satisfies me but your soul
Well I am Death
None can excell
I'll open the door to Heaven or Hell
My name is Death and the end is here
The song was originally done by Ralph Stanley, who is a Bluegrass artist.
I first heard the song from the Supernatural season promo. It's a really good song, I like it. Most people don't like or even know about bluegrass. This is all I wanted to say.

Something Random
This is something I wrote down this afternoon when I was heading back to school. The wind was blowing fierce.
The wind carrying a cloud of colorful brown leaves swept over me, trying to erase me from existent. I stood firm my ground, cutting through the wind and leaves like a boat cuts through the seas.
At the end of the ordeal, there I stood with hair a mess and in a neat circle of dead leaves. The mission of mother nature to erase me only left me frayed and frazzled and covered in dirt.

Everything Happens for a reason?
I hold "Everything happens for a reason" to be strong and true. Most people would agree with me, that people come and go from our lives to help us become the person we were meant to be.
I haven't been to church in a long time, because Ive had a falling out with him. I stay home and watch this preacher named Joel Osteen. This past Sunday, I forgot to set my alarm, so I could wake up at 8:30 to watch it. Instead I woke up at 8:35 rather promptly realizing it had already started.
In my half awake state, basically on auto-pilot, I stumbled into the living and started watching. Joel was talking bout how Gods hand is open toward us, waiting for it to be taken. and to the enemy's on our lives, he holds up a fist keeping them back. Later at night before I went to bed, I told him I needed help, I asked him to help me. The next night, I felt different, the feelings that I've been feeling gone. I don't remember where I was going with this blog when I first started it. So I think I'll stop it.

I am me
I am me.
I am complex
I am crazy
I am sane
I am big
I am your best friend or your worst enemy
I always get the job done
I am a Marine at heart
I am honest, kind and lovable
I am human
I am me
For everything I am, the only thing I'm not doesnt affect me.
Im not made shaped or broken by you.
Plain and Simple.
